Precision Timing, Right Down to the Second
The Time-R takes the concept of the plug-in timer and pushes it further by adding in a ton of extra functionality. You can program ‘on’ and ‘off’ times down to the second, in pretty much any conceivable pattern. This means that you can use it with an array of equipment, like water pumps and CO2 regulators.

Most plug-in timers are relatively simple – they divide the day up into 15 minute segments, and you can then choose whether you want equipment switched on or off for each segment. This is great if you’re controlling lighting schedules because light and dark periods typically last for multiple hours. However, some items of equipment require more precise timings than others. Water pumps, for instance, often need to be switched on for very short periods of time to achieve the best possible results. The Time-R allows you to do this, and much more, by utilising three different modes:
Timed Mode
Allows you to set up to 15 ‘on’ and ‘off’ times for each day.
Repeat Mode
Turns equipment on and off at regular intervals, from 1 second up to 99 hours. You’ll need to set two time periods. The first time period sets the duration of the ‘on’ time. The second time period allows you to set the ‘off’ period occurs. For example, if you select 1 second and 4 seconds respectively, the timer will power up for 1 second out of every 5 seconds.
If your plants are still in the earlier stages, you can set feed times to occur every other day, or even once every four days! Just choose a feed duration and set a suitable ‘off’ time of 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours or 96 hours.
You can also replicate the Half Force Mode that’s found on the Maxi Controller, which exposes your plants to 10 hours on / 10 hours off lighting patterns, in order to get your plants finished earlier.
Combined Mode
As the name suggests, combined mode is a cross between the two previous modes. You set overall ‘on’ and ‘off’ times. During the ‘on’ times, the Time-R will then switch on and off at regular intervals. You can choose to do this for three different time periods per day.
