A forged steel blade is combined with lighter weight hardened aluminum handles with a non-slip vinyl plastic coating. The Felco blade is adjustable and a special sap groove in the blade helps keep the blade from sticking to sappy wood. The groove pushes sap and other debris out from between the pruner blades after each cut. Overall the length of the F-6 is 11 inches with a cut length of 0.8 inches.
